Sprout Speech Therapy, LLC is a therapist owned and operated pediatric speech therapy clinic opened in 2016 by board certified speech language pathologist, Mary Richardson.

Sprout Speech Therapy started from a small home office and therapy space and has since grown into a full time practice and was voted one of the top  speech therapy clinics in Fort Wayne, Indiana by Fort Wayne Newspapers Readers' Choice Awards.

​Mary has provided assessment and treatment in a number of settings including acute care, public schools, and private practices. She specializes in speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and receptive and expressive language delays.

Having a young daughter with a developmental delay, language and articulation delay, and gross motor delay, Mary is uniquely qualified to help you and your child on your therapy journey and can help you navigate the ins and outs of private therapies, school therapies, and IEPs.

Mary holds a masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University and is licensed to practice speech therapy in the state of Indiana. Mary maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Mary has experience supervising Speech Therapy Assistants in the public school and private practice setting and Speech Therapy Clinical Fellows in the public school setting.
